The Guardian™ System General Specifications
- The Guardian System™ is based on the Thermo Scientific™ AutoPILOT Pro™ or AutoEXEC for all measurement and logic functions.
- All Guardian Systems ™ are built according to customer specifications. At Gulf Coast TMC, “Custom is our Standard”.
- Standard AGA-3 and AGA-7 for Gas Measurement.
AGA-11 liquid Coriolis calculation for Custody Transfer (API 11.1). - Tank Level and Volume Production based on changing float levels.
- In LACT controller and SWD systems, the Guardian System™ is controlling fluids instead of gas. Typically starting and stopping pumps, controlling flow rates via variable frequency drives, monitoring and controlling valve position, plus monitoring and controlling tank levels and line pressures.
- Pre-configured logic functions to monitor both analog and discrete points and initiate an alarm and/or shut in condition.
Fill in the blank PID calculation for flow and/or pump control. - Ethernet and serial communications to any 3rd party Modbus capable device.
- Capable of monitoring all pressures, temps, levels, and switches on a well pad for the purposes of automation and/or safety.
- Provides a timed “Bypass” capability for start-up when low alarm conditions exist.
- Pre-timed “Test” mode allows technicians to test all devices and cause alarm conditions without causing a shut-in.
- Available 8” color HMI touchscreen for monitoring and control.
- Enclosure options include white powder-coated aluminum or mil-finished aluminum either of which can be pole-mounted or installed on our aluminum skid package.
- All wiring is “closed loop”.
- Uses the “common” buss so no voltage is used on discretes.
- All inputs are configured as “fail safe”.
Any component failure causes an alarm condition.
Broken/cut wires cause an alarm condition.
Power loss causes an alarm condition.
Multi-well pads can be wired in series to allow for location shut-in.
